Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Bookings
Please read these conditions through carefully!

 

1. General Terms and Conditions of Business

1.1.The contracting parties are GandC Business Communications and the customer. If a third party has booked the hotel or private accommodation for the customer then that third party together with the customer is jointly and severally liable vis-à-vis GandC Business Communications with respect to any obligations as long as said third party has submitted a corresponding statement to GandC Business Communications. The customer offers GandC Business Communications the conclusion of a binding accommodation contract with the booking, which can be made verbally, in writing, by telephone, fax or email or through the Internet. Should any part of these terms and conditions be legally invalid or not applicable, the other conditions shall remain in force and the invalid parts replaced by legally valid terms. For all legal relationships arising from the use of GandC Business Communications services the law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall be applicable.

1.2.You automatically consent to our Conditions when you use www.g-and-c.de . If you do not consent to any part of the Conditions please do not continue with the reservation. When you confirm your booking via email you also confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the Conditions. If you do not understand any part of these Conditions or if you have any questions about them, please contact us.

1.3.Once you have confirmed your booking you will receive a confirmation via email from GandC Business Communications, which you can print out and present to the hotel (or private accommodation) upon arrival.


2 .Changes in the General Terms and Conditions of Business
GandC Business Communications reserves the right to change any part of the General Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice. Use of www.g-and-c.de means at the same time that you consent to the Conditions valid at the time of use.

 

3 .Prices
3.1.The prices included in the price list are final and contain all additional costs as long as not stated otherwise. They apply per room per night. The prices can be altered by GandC Business Communications (price deviations during fair times). Invoices from GandC Business Communications without a due date are payable within ten days from receipt of the invoice without deductions. Failure to pay by the due date shall entitle GandC Business Communications to demand the default interest at the currently valid rate of eight percent.
3.2.We finance ourselves through commissions. That is why we must add 15 – 20% to the room price (only for our successful efforts). Booking fees: domestic € 7.00, overseas € 15.00 Extra charge for bookings for only one night: € 10.00
During fair times: Differences in price!

 

4 .Payment
The entire cost of the stay is to be paid before arrival unless otherwise agreed. If the guest or the contracting party is in arrears with respect to the agreed amount to be paid, after sending a reminder GandC Business Communications can cancel the contract and charge the guest/contracting party for the costs.

 

5. Accommodation Bookings
You fill out the reservation form and pay the listed price. The user who fills out the reservation form confirms at the same time that he/she is authorised to book on behalf of the travellers. The user also confirms that the other travellers are aware of the Conditions and furthermore is responsible for paying for the complete booking including any other costs connected with the booking. Moreover, the user agrees to pass on all of the information and any changes to the travellers.

 

6. Responsibility
You confirm that all details which you pass on to us for the purpose of booking and registering are correct and accept full responsibility for any future bookings that you or a third party might make under your user name and password.

 

7. What does your bill include?
The price shown includes the overnight stay with breakfast and the currently valid value added tax.

 

8. What does your bill not include?
The price shown does not include transfers to or from the airport/harbour to the hotel, other personal extra costs, extra charges for a room category that was not booked, food or other items that were not booked (e.g. for fewer or more room occupants), down payments with refund upon arrival (as for example may sometimes be the case with apartments or houses).

 

9. Method of Payment
Payment is to be made by bank transfer. This system ensures that your details cannot be accessed or misused by third parties and that they can only be appropriated by the responsible bank.

 

10. Booking Changes and Cancellation
You can cancel your booking with GandC Business Communications at any time. In some cases when the booked stay is shortened after the cancellation deadline this may lead to extra fees. There are some tariffs which may not be changed or cancelled. No partial refunds can be made if the guest leaves early or does not make use of all of the booked services. Any confirmation of the change or cancellation assumes that you accept the resulting charge.

 

11. Liability
Customers are precluded from making any damage compensation claims. GandC Business Communications may not be held liable for any damage or loss that may occur during your journey to or from the accommodation or during your stay at the destination. GandC Business Communications shall only be exclusively liable for any mistakes in procurement of the accommodation. The provider of the accommodation shall be exclusively liable for providing the accommodation booked and for any deficiencies in service.

 

12. Travel Insurance
We recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance as medical costs in the case of accident or illness can be very high in foreign countries.

 

13. Complaints
Should you notice any deficiencies upon your arrival, please direct your complaint immediately to the hotel and the local hotel management in order for them to be able to rectify the situation immediately and thus ensure that the complaint is dealt with satisfactorily. GandC Business Communications cannot be held liable for any damage or loss to yourself resulting from unlawful acts, contractual neglect or non-compliance by third parties.


14. Compensation
The customer shall be liable to GandC Business Communications or a third party for costs or damages resulting from any actions on his/her part that are non-compliant with or in breach of contract. This includes any kind of complaint to the police, fines, damages, costs or compensation as well as any legal or accounting fees.

 

15. In General
GandC Business Communications cannot guarantee, however, that there are no typing errors or inaccuracies in, and shall not be responsible for the content of, these pages. The hotels and other service providers who work together with GandC Business Communications are independent third parties and in no case represent or work for GandC Business Communications or its partners. GandC Business Communications shall not be liable for any damage or loss that may occur through unlawful acts, contractual neglect or non-compliance by the contracting partner or other third parties. This also includes any damage or loss due to force majeure, overbooking at the destination or other events over which GandC Business Communications has no control.
